Does it write dark or light

Its darkness depends on the pressure you use for writing and also to some extend on the tip size.With a sharp tip it writes darker with very little pressure. It is a 2 HB pencil which gives a very uniform quality throughout its life (which is very long! ). If you use the recommended sharpener it lasts for almost thrice the life-time of any other brand available for the same specifications. Though the eraser lasts for only half the lifetime of the pencil, the trouble free service it offers is worth more than its price .Tip breakage and damage during sharpening are factors which I am yet to face after using this brand for past 8 to 10 years. An ideal economical tool for people who love writing and drawing .The Staedler yellow pencil (134-HB ) is a better pencil with better quality but writes in a brownish black color.
