Got the book very fast and it was in pretty much perfect condition

Estoy muy molesta, ya que he trabajado con ustedes desde hace mas de un año aproximadamente y no había tenido un problema similar, ya que yo solicite y pague un servicio de un libro nuevo, no usado y NO estoy de acuerdo con sus políticas de solo devolverme un 20 %, yo necesito todo el importe que les pague ya que comprare otro, por tal motivo me urge la devolución inmediata.Pues me gustaría seguir trabajando con ustedes por mucho tiempo mas y que esto no sea causante de una mala imagen de ustedes para mi, pues soy un comprador constante y ustedes lo pueden ver en nuestro historial.Espero me puedan contestar a mi correo lo antes posible.

It gives a good starting point view about network security. It is not the most advanced book about the subject but it is very good to start with!

Good read, heavy on applications and standards

I bought this book for an information security advanced networking class and have found it useful. I found it to be a good companion for more howto style books. For example, it goes into detail about how encryption algorithms work with descriptive figures which helped me to understand the topic. One thing I took away from that subject is that encryption algorithms should be straightforward and still the ciphertext should be very difficult to decrypt without the key. It makes any weaknesses in the algorithm easier and much more likely to be identified. Hadn't thought about the problem from that perspective before. Makes sense.
