Works great but result was different than we expected - instead of cutting on the top of the can, it cuts around the side of the can just below the seam for the lid. This actually is excellent, because it greatly reduced sharp edges from the lid, and reduces the chances of any contamination (dirt, dust, etc…) that might have accumulated on the lid from getting inside the can. Additionally, because the top of the can and seam pop off - if you washed and dried the lid and container, you could probably re-use the cans for storage of other items, or for covert/secret storage. The cost was far below other can openers, and this can opener worked far better than other can openers we tried at the same price point. Highly recommended - this is now our go-to can opener. We like it much better than the other much more expensive name brand can openers that come in a variety of colors. This can opener is simple, doesn’t require cleaning afterward, and does its job well.

This thing works great! At first I was skeptical. It isn't a grip type locking mechanism. It's a single handle. Then I used it. Turning the knob draws the cutting head down to the can, and opening the can becomes trivial. The older models with the pliar type grips required a squeeze of some force to effectively open cans, and as they aged, things loosened up to the point where, eventually all I got were sharp metal shavings lining the cans and unopened cans. This one is still pretty new, so I don't know if it'll loosen with age, but structurally, I'm not seeing the wear points that'll cause it to fail in the same way the old ones eventually did.

This is simply one of the best can openers I have ever owned. No more dealing with sharp edges and trying your best not to get little shards of metal in the food. You don't have to worry about any of this when using this device. It actually cuts outside the can's top in a smooth action. When I first used it I thought it wasn't working because the cutting action is so smooth. In fact it was doing its job. This is a great device around the home and makes a good gift for that cook in your family, Wonderful device, just wonderful!

A can opener has one job... open the can. While there seem to be a million options out there, I purchased this one for its simplicity. So far, it has been very easy to use and it does exactly what it is supposed to. Opens the can without leaving a sharp edge.

How can anything this simple work so great? This can opener is so impressive that I bout 2 more for my adult children. I really like the way it cuts the lid of a can that allows you to place it back on the can if needed. Very cool item!

This things works well to open all sizes of cans, including gallon sized. A good deal and a quality product. I have had it for nearly a year and still working well. Easy to wash and cuts the seam of the can so no sharp edges.

This can opener works effortlessly and leaves a smooth edge (not jagged like traditional can openers). The best thing is that I have been able to reuse the lid as a cover. The product has delivered as promised so far. I just hope that it has a good lifespan/is durable for a good period of use.

It is super easy to use AND easy to wash. There's no sharp edges on the can after using it, and there's a "lid" that you make that you can use to re-seal the can that you've opened. I personally use plastic wrap on top of the can as well, but it beats using plastic wrap on top of an open and sharp container. I've since bought this can opener for the rest of my family, and they've been praising it as well. What's crazy is that this costs around the same as regular can openers, but it's so much better.
