This was not reviewed when we bought this lock. I wish I would have known. We get locked in/out all the time and have to remove the door knob in order to bypass the lock almost daily. This is not helpful! Even when the lock is locked open, we can't open the door from either side. Once the door is open then we have to use unlock both sides again. However, this only lasts for a short time and we are locked out again. Not a good lock.
