I received book in a good condition.

This is a great book if you want to go into blockchain development. Even if you want to understand deeper without going into development. This is like a bridge between theory and practical and helps you understand how blockchain and consensus works from an algo pov. Go for it.

One of the things I appreciated most about this book is how it seamlessly transitions from beginner-level topics to more advanced concepts. It starts by providing a solid foundation on what blockchain is and how it works, then gradually builds upon that knowledge to cover more complex topics like smart contracts and decentralized applications.The author does an excellent job of breaking down complex ideas into easy-to-understand language, making it accessible to readers of all levels. Additionally, the book is filled with practical examples and real-world use cases, which helps to reinforce the concepts being discussed.

Gives a good overview of various aspects and applications of the Blockchain technology, however, the book is not well written. The construct of sentences makes them hard to understand. Overall good book but one needs to read and re-read to understand what the author is saying. And some of the topics are stretched and written poorly that they become boring to read.

I was fortunate to receive a pre-release copy of this book. I have read first edition of this book. It was my first book to learn everything about blockchain.This fourth edition is much more enhanced. Apart from updating the core chapters of Cryptography, Bitcoin, Ethereum etc; it covers latest advancements such as Ethereum merge, Tokenization, Blockchain Security, Decentralized Identity and DeFi.Some of topics which I personally liked are Semi-private blockchains, Contest-driven decentralization. Chapters on Scalability, Blockchain privacy, Blockchain Security, Decentralized Identity and Decentralized Finance are a must read.Last chapter on Blockchain Applications along with IOT is a good read. It really gives a good perspective of blockchain usage in IOT applications. Although, it would have been good to have detailed case study on any use case and try to reason why blockchain would be useful OR a use case were blockchain doesn’t make much sense. This would have helped readers to identify potential blockchain use cases.Considering the book covers vast topics across blockchain, it doesn’t get in much detail which is understandable. But it doesn’t mean it covers surface level knowledge. The book gives a good head start and touches various blockchain concepts. Readers can study and research more based on their topic of interest.Overall, a very comprehensive book for everyone from newbies, blockchain enthusiasts to blockchain practitioners.

I would suggest this book solely for its incredible way of making the things easier for people to understand blockchain in detail, the main aspects of how the defi's have been approached has made it extremely useful in understanding how the modernization of web3 is moving and how it has an ever revolving sphere of making the authors and the readers connect, I would like to thank Imran Bashir to make this extremely useful guide and its a must buy from my end!

This book is really good, covering not only the topics around blockchains but also side topics that are important for a good understanding.I am surprised how this book covers even the smallest details like SECP256k1 curves, holomorphic encryptions, setting up nodes, all the different blockchains, and everything else.I really think this book is a great book for anyone interested in learning blockchain or getting a deeper understanding of all the technicalities.

I would highly recommend "Mastering Blockchain" to anyone who wants to gain a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology.Although the book is quite technical the author does an excellent job in explaining concepts in simpler terems for non-techincal readers mainly by using practical and real world examples .The author also illustrates how blockchain can be used to improve effciency and increase transparecy through case studies making it a good reference for buisnesses which are planning on inculcating this practice.
