Just bought an extra 6 pack on amazon for 9.99. **Q: What is the height of the product?** A: Don't know exactly (can't get at it to measure right now) but the handle can be extended so it is a comfortable distance so a medium height person can hold it so the bottom (guard and cutting lines) reaches the ground. I would estimate 36 to maybe 44 inches. **Q: Can I purchase string for this and wind it myself instead of buying the prestrung spools? I have done that for years with my Black and Decker trimmer** A: Yes you can. Winding the sting is not a problem. Putting the spool back into the trimmer is not as easy as your B&D. **Q: I have been seeing reviews that say it's powerful. Does that only apply to the 10 amp or is the 4 amp impressive as well?** A: The 10 Amp is certainly the more powerful of the two. The 4 Amp is quite adequate for normal household use. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No cord and no gas - yippee!! *by T***D on 11 June 2021* I still need to test noise level (w/ my neighbors) but so far so good. Does the job and I am using the batteries that came with my Greenworks 2 x 24V (48V) 21" Brushless Self-Propelled Mower, (4) 4Ah USB Batteries will be monitoring the string feed given feedback from other buyers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WORKS GREAT *by J***Y on 28 June 2022* THIS IS LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO USE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use - assembly was a little trying *by S***C on 9 September 2025* Giving it 5 stars for ease of use, quality. Buying it without the 24V battery (already have one for another Greenworks product) made the price very attractive! After 34 years of a corded trimmer I thought I deserved something lightweight and cord free ;) Assembly was mostly ok, but putting the shafts together required some ooomph (I used rubber gloves for a better grip). Also, the manual should tell you to throw away the rubber thingies that are evidently just for packaging and shipment. ## Frequently Bought Together - Greenworks 24V 10" Cordless TORQDRIVEβ„’ String Trimmer , Battery and Charger Not Included - Greenworks 48V (2 x 24V) 17" Cordless (Push) Lawn Mower (125+ Compatible Tools), (2) 4.0Ah Batteries and Dual Port Rapid Charger Included - Greenworks 24V (90 MPH / 320 CFM / 125+ Compatible Tools) Cordless Axial Leaf Blower, Tool Only --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://kazakhstan.desertcart.com/products/369608134-greenworks-string-trimmer](https://kazakhstan.desertcart.com/products/369608134-greenworks-string-trimmer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kazakhstan* *Store origin: KZ* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
