The Bench That Gave My Dad His Shower Back
When my father came home after hip surgery, the bathroom went from his favorite retreat to his biggest daily obstacle. Getting over the tub wall felt like scaling Everest in a hospital gown. Enter this bench, and suddenly Everest got a lot shorter. Setup was genuinely painless. No tools, clear instructions, and it snapped together in under ten minutes. The legs adjust in half-inch increments, which sounds minor until you realize that half an inch is exactly what stands between comfortable and awkward when someone is sliding across a tub edge. The sliding seat moves smoothly, and the nylon strap locks it in place once you are where you need to be. The textured plastic surface adds grip without being harsh, and the cut-out seat is a thoughtful design touch that takes care of something most products in this category just ignore. The backrest flips for either left or right-hand orientation, which matters more than you might expect depending on your bathroom layout. Durability has not been a concern. The aluminum frame feels solid and shows no signs of wear, rust, or wobble even after months of daily use. At 400 lbs capacity, it is built for real-world use, not just the average case. One thing to know before buying: measure your space carefully. At 39 inches wide, it needs room to work. It fits most standard tubs, but do not assume, check first. Also worth noting is that the lap belt, while useful, can be a little fiddly to adjust initially. For anyone managing mobility challenges, recovering from surgery, or caring for someone who needs bathing assistance, this bench is a practical, well-built solution at a fair price. It turns a genuinely stressful situation into something manageable, and that is worth every penny.

Awesome but didnt work for me.
This is hard to rate. It was very easy to put together and it was very sturdy. However it was my mistake that I did not measure before ordering. It stuck out way to far for the small bathroom we have. I had to return. Just make sure you measure before ordering

Great Product During NWB Leg Injuries
I broke my knee and had to be NWB (nonweight bearing) for 4 weeks then slowly ease into walking and normal activities over several weeks. I nearly tumbled trying to get in and out of a walk in shower (as there was still a short barrier to jump over). Plus, standing on one leg while showering was exhausting and dangerous and a standard shower chair wouldn’t help as I needed something to hold onto to sit and stand up as I was only using one leg. This product solved multiple problems. I used it in a standard size bathtub/shower that has a curtain. I put the handle side of the bench outside of the tub. That helps me easily sit and stand on my own. I can also drape my towel over that handle. The sliding over feature helps me easily get into the shower without having to jump on one leg dangerously over barriers. The chair has two spots to hold my shower head, which is really helpful so that I don’t have to put it on the floor while lathering my shampoo into my hair. I installed a lightweight shower head with a long chord that has an on/off button on the shower head. That pairs perfectly with this product. I don’t lean on the back of the chair or use the seatbelt, but I see how that can be helpful for people who need it. Given the structure of the chair, even when pushing the legs all the way to the wall side of the tub/shower, there are several inches between the side of the seat and the wall. It would be nice if that side stuck out farther. I do not remove the center part is the seat as I like to scoot over as far as possible on the chair to have as much space as possible between me and the shower curtain. That means I am sitting on 1/2 to 2/3 of the width of the seat. I added a third shower curtain to my rod to prevent any water from getting out. I tuck the internal curtain in under the seat. The middle curtain hangs inside the tub before and after the chair. The final curtain stays on the outside. With this setup, I have had no water get out of the tub. There are plastic hooks on the side of the chair to temporarily hold it in position either all the way slid to left or right. This is a great safety feature. I originally tried installing this chair over my jetted tub (believe the side was 21” high). Unfortunately, the product didn’t clear that height. This product has been very helpful to be able to take safe showers during my injury, and I am glad that I purchased it. My husband set it up easily.

Shower Chair
I ordered this to use with an injured foot, and it works great. I sit down, slide myself over, and lock the seat into place. It’s sturdy, and I feel comfortable with it. There is a place to hold the shower head hose, which is a nice option too. Would highly recommend.

Excellent product. Is as described. Very sturdy. Slides easily even with 220 lb. person on it but does lock securely once in (or out) of tub. Unfortunately , bought for my elderly mother and her tub is an odd size INSIDE so couldn't fit it properly unless I used it in the middle of the tub which brought it too close to the toilet. Had to return. TOO BAD!! Really really like it. Would've have been perfect if we had a little more space. The only negative is that the adjustments don't allow you to adjust LOW enough for a short person like my mom (5'1") Her feet dangle above the floor so need to be careful til she is IN the tub area. Still a a bit higher than I'd like to see there, but manageable.

This looks like an excellent product - innovative design and well made, and easy to assemble. I would have rated it with five stars but we had to return it because the legs were not long enough, even when adjusted to the full height, to clear the edge of the bath. We raised this with the manufacturer but although they acknowledged our question about whether longer legs could be provided, they did not come back with any solution. With great regret we had to return it.

El producto en si esta bien, pero no trae los apoyabrazos que describen en el anuncio ni hay forma de conseguirlos. Solo llega lo que se ve en las fotos.

Legs too short to fit my bath, shame as it would've saved me a lot of grief. Got a full refund so can't complain too much.
