I was waiting to write a review for this product until after I had my baby and knew what kind of results I was going to get and let me just say that I absolutely LOVE this oil. I did not get one stretch mark and I really think using this product helped my skin stay moisturized and elastic throughout my pregnancy. I have some old marks on my hips from puberty years ago and I noticed that even those faded quite a bit after applying the oil regularly. I know everyone says "stretch marks are hereditary" and I definitely think there is some truth to that but I come from a family of women that have very bad stretch marks from having babies and I did not get any while pregnant. My mom was so impressed when she saw my stomach and she swears my skin is so smooth because I moisturized daily. I really think the key is consistency. I used the era organics stretch mark oil every morning during my last trimester. It absorbed quickly and well enough to be able to put my clothes on not too long afterwards and not ruin them. The oil also smells AMAZING. It has a clean citrus scent that I really like. My only concern when I first got the product was how small the bottle was and assumed it wouldn't last very long, but the oil seems to be very concentrated so a little bit goes a long way. Mine lasted almost 4 months and I was using it daily. Very pleased with this oil and I will definitely be recommending it to my pregnant mama friends!

I’m 6 months pregnant and had yet to find an oil that didn’t make my already very dry skin even more dry. A friend of mine recommended this one to me and it’s absolutely amazing! Mine came in sealed plastic. When I opened it there was a paper seal under the cap. It wasn’t glued down but oil + glue probably isn’t a good marriage so I’m sure this seal was to prevent leaks and it worked. The cap clicks open (like a shampoo bottle). It allows product to come out with little effort so tip slowly. The oil itself is very nice and smells like oranges. It doesn’t leave an oily residue but doesn’t get absorbed so quickly it’s like you never put it on. Which is what I’ve experience with a lot of the oils I’ve tried. I don’t even feel like I need to wash my hands after applying it! I mix it with my CeraVe body cream and my skin has never been more hydrated! I can’t speak for the stretch mark part yet but with 90% of women getting stretch marks in pregnancy, I’m just glad my skin isn’t dry and itchy. Well worth the money spent!

The oil itself is fine but the bottle leaks like crazy, even when it’s sitting upright.

I'm pregnant with my first baby and took a leap of faith in hoping this oil would help prevent stretch marks. I have used it in the morning and evening since I was 16 weeks along (when I had no stretch marks) and unfortunately it just didn't keep me from getting them...it has kept my skin very soft, smells great and really helps with the itching, so I will continue to use throughout the rest of my pregnancy, but even with religious use and massaging the oil in well, I still have developed stretch marks on my hips, breasts and thighs now at 34 weeks. I knew this wasn't going to be a miracle in a bottle, but I don't think I could really recommend this as any kind of stretch mark prevention in the future to anyone, it's really just a nice organic body oil. It also hasn't faded any older scars I have been applying it on either...

Highly recommend. You'll see results guaranteed. BUT you gotta remember to put it on everyday! I put it on every night before bed, I'm noticing a great fade and reduction in stretch marks on my belly and a big difference in the stretch marks on my hips which were purple red dark ones. The darker the longer you'll have to wait for results but honestly I've noticed results after a week of using it everyday nightly. The stretch marks that were beginning to come up around my breasts basically went away, I think it also has to do with timing as well, we don't have one of those long mirrors so I couldn't see my own stomach and ended up finding out I had stretch marks from my fiancé who kinda didn't hide the expression of "omg" I asked him what was wrong and the moment I found out I had all these stretch marks I literally cried because I didn't feel sexy or beautiful anymore but he told me we'd get something to help and not to worry because i was always gonna be beautiful to him. Anyways I jumped on the ball and looked everywhere on amazon for the best reviewed product on stretch mark cream and/or oils and found this one. I don't regret it and definitely will be buying again for after I have my son and baby #2 when the time comes :)

Item was missing the seal completely. Bottle was wrapped in plastic, however under the plastic wrap the bottle is covered in oil. Without a seal, it is unsafe to use this product as I have no way of ensuring it was not previously used or tempered with.

So far very happy. I am only 5.5 months pregnant so far and use this several times a week at bed time. It is highly moisturizing. The scent is a bit strong but pleasant. I will give an update after I deliver based on whether or not I get any stretch marks. Update: I didn't get any stretch marks even though I gained 25 lbs (20% of my normal body weight) during pregnancy. My mother and both aunts (whose skin type I've inherited) had nasty stretch marks during their pregnancies and the fact that I didn't get a single one makes me believe that it's because of this oil that I used at night and the other cream that I put on in the morning. I am buying this for my sister-in-law who's pregnant. Thank you Era Organics. You rock!
