I found this product to be effective in cleaning, but the result is not a SHINY cooktop, but opaque, dull instead. How can I obtain a shiny result?

I always "buff out" my cooktop with a clean paper towel when I'm done cleaning it. I do this whether I am using this product or any other. Doesn't require any special force, just wipe the cooktop with a clean, dry paper towel. I get a nice shiny cooktop that looks the same as when I first got the stove.

What is your "process" for your best results?

Make sure any burnt on food is fully scraped off with the razor. I have had to go back and re-scrape things for the best shine. Also make sure the razor is sharp. I recommend replacing it every 2-3 uses, however I get a lot of food burnt on it.

how many times can I use the same pad?

my wife is using the pad now for over 1 year.Now, it seems to be important to rinse the pad thoroughly after each use, because it still cleans very well the stove top.

Does the pow-r grip pad tool work well or is it worthless?

Honestly, I didn't use the pad because I was afraid it would scratch my cooktop. That was just me, though, they say it's safe. It just seems a little rough. I did use the scraper though, and it worked great. I've used it several times. LIke if you spill some egg or something that sort of crusts up, scrape it with the tool first, and it comes up then use the cleaner. I used a paper towel, and that was all I needed, and I had some pretty tough spots that had been there for a while that nothing else got up. I'm not kidding, my cooktop looks like it did when it was first installed.
