THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS W-1201 Wooden Educational Jig Saw Puzzle - Ballerina

The pieces are light in weight, large in size (about 3/4 in. thick for easy handling), and interlock loosely so even pre-schoolers can assemble them easily. The Ballerina Puzzle was an easy decision to choose for an inclusion in our list of puzzles. It was because my daughter, Cassandra Sue (Candy Susie) was a dance major from the age of (4) years old to her death at the age of (27). Her favourite colour was Pink. She graduated from the best Performing Arts Schools in the country in Pittsburgh, PA, namely, POINT PARK COLLEGE. She was more fortunate than most because she played out her childhood dream of dancing around the world. She actually danced throughout the Mediterranean Sea, from top to bottom and side to side. Then Throughout Russia. She even performed at in.Carnegie Hall in. in New York City by invitation from Mikhail Baryshnikov to perform with him personally in 1991. Also, Gregory Hines invited her to perform in his company for a (5) week stint during 1991 at the Pittsburgh Play House. THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS Our wooden toys are created for the safety and education of all. We started designing for young children, but soon found that every person in the family was the kid having fun. While having fun, learning skills are very apparent. These wooden toys help develop dexterity, hand/eye coordination, colour, shape, size identification, problem-solving and reasoning skills, plus many others. All of our jigsaw Puzzles are created without a frame to insert the pieces into, as most others are. We want the child to match and compare body parts that go together or structural shapes to each other, in order to reassemble each design. Not put a piece into a frame that matches the frame, having no consideration for the relationship of the components that make up the design. The grain of the wood plays an important part as all designs are cut from a solid piece of wood.
